12th June 2001 - Hear'Say star splits up with his girlfriend
Danny
from Hear'Say has finished with his girlfriend Chloe Price. He says
the pressure of being in the band spoilt things between them.
Danny
had vowed they would not split up when he hit the big time. "I
used to see her every day. Now I'm lucky if I see her once a week,"
he told BBC's Newsround. "Our
relationship has changed since I got into Hear'Say. She is concentrating
on her degree. "It's
hard, but we're still good friends."

6th June 2001 - Hear'Say Girls Strike A Pose
Hear'Say
girls Myleene, Suzanne and Kym have posed for a raunchy photo shoot
on the cover of this month's GQ magazine. Dressed in saucy underwear,
Suzanne tells the magazine that she always wanted to be famous.
'When
I was three I wanted to go to Hollywood. By the time I was seven
I was dressing up as Madonna. The singer, who also starred in BBC
children's drama, Eildor, recounts her days in an Abba tribute band
called The Right Stuff. 'We trashed hotel rooms all the time and
we stole slippers and shower caps,' she says.
Suzanne
also admits she is worried about the effect that the raunchy photo
shoot may have on Hear'Say's younger fans. 'The idea of being
someone's sexual fantasy is a bit freaky. I don't really want to
think about it,' she says.
Meanwhile
Myleene insists Hear'Say's success won't turn her into an unbearable
superstar. 'I'd hate to be one of those people who turn up in
their limo with their dog and their bodyguards,' she says. 'And
anyway, my family would smack me on the arse if I turned into a
bitch.'
Kym
meanwhile denies that she received 163;100,000 from the success
of Pure And Simple. 'I don't know. You'll have to ask my accountant,'
she replies. 'But I do know we're all financially comfortable
which is a nice feeling.'

1st June 2001 - Hear'Say Havoc At Harrods Book Signing
Five
hundred fans flocked through the doors of the famous Harrods store
in London for an exclusive book signing by Hear'Say.
The
band appeared in-store to sign copies of their book Popstars - The
Making of Hear'Say, for crowds of dedicated fans. The book tells
the story of their journey from Popstar hopefuls to superstars and
is filled with candid snapshots taken by the band themselves.
Noel
was still nursing a finger splint from earlier this week and couldn't
sign anything with a pen, but he managed to stamp just about everything
insight with a rubber 'N' stamp, in high spirits.
worldpop
asked Myleene about the recent series of break ins at Hear'Say's
163;1m hideaway home. 'It's been terrible,' said the singer.
'I'm absolutely gutted. I've lost personal belongings that can never
be replaced.'
Noel,
nodding in agreement, added that the whole ordeal had been 'frightening.'
