HEARSAY'S
DEBUT LIVE APPEARANCE
Hear'Say
made their live debut on Saturday 10th March 2001 at London's G.A.Y.
club night at the Astoria.
The band
performed four tracks, including first hit single 'Pure And Simple'.
However,
as shown on the tv programme Popstars, the band had to restart their
performance after a technical problem with a stage curtain.
Interviewed
on TV show 'Top Of The Pops Plus', the band said the night had gone
well with newly-crowned gay icon Noel revealing he had underwear thrown
at him while he was onstage.
